Coach Angus Berenato

Endowed Scholarship

The Kennesaw State University Women’s Basketball Team and the Department of Athletics are working with the KSU Foundation to establish an endowed scholarship in honor of Coach Berenato that will serve as a reminder of all the lasting and meaningful contributions she has made in the lives of students, student athletes, and campus communities throughout her years as a basketball coach.

Coach B joined Kennesaw State in 2016, after becoming the winningest coach in program history at both Pittsburgh and Georgia Tech. In almost 30 years as a head coach, Coach B has been a champion on and off the court, and has dedicated herself to raising awareness for cancer and the research to combat it. Cancer has impacted her family in many ways, and the February 8th, 2020 Pink Game at KSU’s Convocation Center was another event in a long line of many led by Coach B to inspire and educate her players and their fans on what they can do to help fight the devastating disease.

Funds raised at the Pink Game were used to start the Coach Agnus Berenato Endowed Scholarship fund at KSU, and will be distributed annually to a deserving student who has been impacted by the effects of cancer. Your donation will help honor Coach B and make a difference in the lives of Kennesaw State students for years to come.
