When is my Owls Fund Membership Fee due?
For the most part, your Owls Fund Membership Fee will be tied to your season tickets. In order to have your season tickets printed and mailed, your Owls Fund Membership Fee must be paid in full. To ensure you receive your season tickets in a timely manner, it is best to have your payments complete by June for football, by September for men’s and women’s basketball, and by December for baseball.
What are priority points and how are they used?
Priority points are used to fairly allocate membership benefits, such as season ticket and parking locations for football and postseason competitions. Other items that could be effected by priority points would be hospitality suite invitations and newly created seat inventory, such as courtside seats for men’s and women’s basketball. The Owls Fund will “rank” all members based on their priority points total.
How are priority points awarded?
You can earn priority points in a number of ways. Every $100 contributed to The Owls Fund will receive 1 priority point. You will also earn 1 priority point for every consecutive year you are a season ticket holder for any sport, and 5 points for every consecutive year you contribute to The Owls Fund. If you identify yourself as a KSU or SPSU alumni you will receive 5 initial points, and all KSU or SPSU Faculty/Staff/Retirees will receive an initial 10 points. Finally, all former student-athletes Varsity Club of both KSU and SPSU will receive an initial 10 points. Please know, once identified the development staff at KSU will need to verify your standing and points will be awarded accordingly.
How can I claim priority points awarded to me for being an Alumnus, Faculty/Staff/Retiree, or Varsity Club?
Please contact The Owls Club at 470-578-6995 or email theowlsfund@kennesaw.edu to claim your additional priority points. They will verify your standing within those groups and add points to your account accordingly. They will also discuss additional benefits and discounts provided to your group, so please contact The Owls Fund to identify yourself and claim those benefits.
What are some major changes with the new Football Season Tickets and Owls Fund Rebrand?
The two major changes with The Owls Fund will be the pricing structure for football season tickets and the added value recognized by the season ticket holder through additional benefits. The pricing structure will move to a per seat cost basis so you understand the exact Owls Fund contribution and ticket cost per seat. Please reference The Owls Fund Benefits Chart to review the additional benefits provided to season ticket holders.
Why are changes being made to football season tickets and The Owls Fund?
After working through end of the season surveys with football season ticket holders, constraints were recognized. The rebrand will help simplify the pricing structure, provide additional value, emphasis season tickets in comparison to single game purchases, and incentivize new season ticket sales.
What is the cost of football season tickets?
Season football tickets will come with two costs. The first will be the associated Owls Fund Membership Fee dependent upon the section in which your seats fall. The Fifth Third Seating Map will outline those membership fees on a per seat basis. Each season ticket will also have the associated cost of tickets, which will remain at $124 per ticket.
